Jean's Story

If I had a million dollars, I would give half of it to the country I was born in, Dem. Rep. of Congo, Africa. I would give money to Habitat for Humanity to build more houses for very needy families. There are Habitat houses in Kinshasa and Kimpese, etc. I would give money to improve equipment and stock medicine at local hospitals, the hospital I was born at IME, Kimpese, Congo. I would give monies for computers and general school supplies, French books to schools. I would buy a house and property in TN or NC. I would leave MS behind. I miss the snow in TN and NC. I would give money to needy families here in MS. I love to travel. I would like to take my whole family, my husband and 2 dau...Expand for more
ghters to Europe and Hawaii. I would love to take friends and HS students to London, Italy and Africa. Everyone should see the poverty in Africa. I would put some in savings and invest some of the remainder. I have been married to a wonderful man I met in Houston, TX when I taught there for 10 years. We have lived in Petal, MS for 10 years. We have two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Jenny. We have an exchange student this year from Germany. We are learning German. She has been a delight to have in our home and at the high school This year, the Petal High School Band was the MS representative in the Inaugural Parade in DC in January, 2009 I thank God for the wonderful life He has let me live.
